The College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences and the Information Services Strategic Fund currently fund half of the value of the International Frank O’Connor Short Story Award. The winner gives a public reading in University College Cork.

The School of English and the Munster Literature Centre, in collaboration with UCC Library, co-sponsor a series of public lectures, Reading Writing. This year’s speakers include Kevin Barry, Nick Laird and Zadie Smith.
