“Back from the Brink – Research and Practice in Addressing Homelessness”

Back from the Brink is seminar that is being jointly hosted by the School of Applied Psychology and the Cork Simon Community. A range of speakers will present on the application of research in the area of homelessness and related issues with a particular focus on applied research which has made an impact on service design or delivery. The School of Applied Psychology has worked with the Cork Simon Community for the last two years forming a strong research cluster, this facilitated a research project and subsequent report on trauma informed care in research and practice. The event is fully subscribed and the majority of delegates attending are from front line services at a local and national level. Speakers include local, national and international researchers, academics and practitioners.
